Creative Skills started in 2012 out of a desire to provide clubs & players with the ultimate camp experience and the skills they need to take their game to the next level.

Frequently Asked Questions

When do I need to arrive at camp?

You should aim to arrive roughly 15 minutes before camp starts, please be sure to check each date and the time listed in your receipt.

Upon arriving at camp, your child will need to be signed in with the camp director to ensure they are going home with the correct person when being signed out.

What should I bring to camp?

Camp duration is normally around 3 hours, so you should not have to bring too many items with you, some of the suggested items you can bring:

Water Bottle
Sunscreen / Body Lotion
Soccer Cleats (Outdoor Grass Camps)
Soccer/Running Shoes (Indoor / Other Fields)
Appropriate clothing (Sports Socks, Shorts, T-Shirt)
Wet weather clothing

Please make sure any items you do bring are safely stored in a bag with your child’s name on it.

Are parents allowed to watch the session?

Parents should always ask the camp director permission before watching any session, there might be limited space at the facility or there might be a health & safety reason why they cannot.

In general, on most camps, we have absolutely no problem with parents watching their child from the outer edges of the camp, where they are not impacting play or causing interference for any of the events running. Please be considerate of other players when watching.

When should I arrive to take my child home?

Ideally you should aim to arrive on or just before camp ends, traffic and weather conditions permitting.

If you arrive before camp ends, please wait on the outskirts of camp or near the entrance of the facility before attempting to pick up your child.

Once camp has ended, please check-in with the camp director to sign out your child.

What happens if my child is injured on camp?

We have fully trained and qualified medics on each camp we run, our medics wil assess what injury has occurred and if necessary call for emergency services.

When registering for a camp, you will be asked to provide contact details for a responsible individual who can, in an emergency, assist with our camp medic on the best course of action.

Please ensure that any emergency contact you give will be available to answer their phone during camp hours.
